Most programs according  to our voting poll were  found guilty.  70% were unhappy  30% were happy We want to know why the majority are not pleased ?

We took a vote --the results were 70% Guilty - 30% Non-Guilty.   I  set  up the vote to obtain an idea of how most of us felt - - - - about our Methadone Maintenance Treatment.   Since buprenorphine now has become an alternative medication -   -I believe they have started calling it Medication Assisted Treatment since they have more than one medication.  We may see more to come in the future.

We will be taking polls.  We urge you  to take part in them.  If you want change - then participate -Vote.  Be counted!  - -   I am trying to get some idea of what you need to know  - - - - above all I want all of us to be familiar with what our rights are.  -  - Some of you are new patients and are certainly not acquainted with the new kind of environment you have found yourself in.  - - - -  Some of you may be reading because you have not yet decided whether- - - "Medication Assisted Treatment" is for you. 

Please don't judge it by the poll above.  There are a lot of patients unhappy as you can see- but I believe we can change it for the better by working together as a team. We need your feedback.  We need interaction between you, me - -  and  all the others - - - Don't just stand in line and complain -- - it  takes action on your part.   I have provided a feedback form below for you to take action.  All we ask is instead of complaining in line - come here and complain.  - - We want to hear what  is actually happening to you.  We want to know if your rights are violated .  We all need to share here about the program we are attending.  Why, you may ask?  

 We  want to  let  others  know,  in  case,  they  are  contemplating  transferring  or moving to another  state -- your post may  help  them  in  making  a decision. We don't turn in any of the information on the Feedback Form.  - - - - - The main purpose it serves is  for  you  to share with  other  patients  and  to " vent  your  feelings " if you feel that you have been mistreated.

 - - This is where you come to "Sound Off !"  We not only want to hear about the circumstances that make you mad- - - - we want to hear some of the things you like.   I know there are some of you very satisfied about where you attend. - Let us know what your program's assets are.   If there is a special employee that you feel like deserves attention for the services they provide- yes, tell us about them.  We certainly want to take the time to acknowledge their acts of kindness.  

We are here to work with you bringing the darkness to light - - - - - by providing  knowledge. - We are here to listen -- we are here to interact with all of you - We are here to head off the complaints before they become a grievance. - -  We are here to help you find a program to transfer to if it is the only means of solving the problem.   Work with us - we will mediate for you.
